Blending Experience
An extended 1hr 15 minute experience. A fully guided tour followed by an interactive tasting of 4 varieties of Irish whiskey with one of our many whiskey expert. Then learn to craft and blend whiskey to your own taste and bring home a miniature bottle with a sample of your very own whiskey blend.
Coffee Glass Experience
Lat our guide tell you the stories of the invention of The Irish Coffee. Then learn how to make your own Irish Coffee and of course enjoy drinking it at the end.
OUR STORY
Irish whiskey is the fastest growing spirit in the world. At the Irish Whiskey Museum, we tell the true history of this famous spirit.
In 2013, there were only four distilleries in operation and five visitor centers on the island of Ireland. Now, there are 24 operating distilleries with another 28 at different stages of planning! The Irish Whiskey Museum is independent of all whiskey distilleries. That means we offer our visitors the opportunity to taste some of the huge selection of whiskeys on offer. We’ll also tell you the unbiased history of the spirit and its importance in Ireland’s history.
IRISH WHISKEY MUSEUM TOUR
Listen, learn and laugh during guided tours of the Museum. Walk throughout the building where each of the 4 different rooms represents a different period in Irish history. Finish the tour by becoming a true whiskey expert with a tasting of three or four different Irish whiskeys. Other tours, such as the Whiskey Blending Experience and the Whiskey and Brunch experience, are also available.
THE BUILDING
We are based in a historic building on Grafton Street, opposite the main entrance of Trinity College. Relax in our bar and check out the views of the city. Choose from the huge selection of Irish whiskeys available, our signature Irish Coffee or our whiskey cocktails, all while taking in the views of the city. Or visit our shop and speak to many one of our whiskey experts and find the perfect whiskey for you!
